About us

We have been providing excellent, professional dental care to our patients for over 25 years. Our friendly team will ensure that your visit to our practice is as pleasurable as possible. We have years of experience in preventive and cosmetic dentistry, periodontal, orthodontic and restorative treatments. Although we do not perform implants, we are able to refer to and liaise with local colleagues if required.

We promise to explain treatment options and ensure that our patients are made aware, at the onset, of the likely costs. We promise to give you an indication of the treatment costs by providing you with a written estimate. Should the provisional treatment plan need to be altered, this will be explained and the final costs will be recalculated.

Payment for treatment can be made by credit or debit cards. Interest-free credit can be arranged for some types of treatment and tailored to your individual needs.

We currently have a contract to provide NHS treatment to patients who are under 18 years old and up to 19 years old if still in full-time education. We are also able to provide orthodontic treatment to children using the criteria set down by the NHS guidelines and subject to having sufficient resources. 

Emergency service
Patients requiring urgent treatment are requested to contact us during opening hours and as early in the day as possible. Outside normal surgery hours, private adult patients should phone the practice, where an answer-phone message will give the caller the telephone number of the duty dentist, who will give appropriate advice or arrange treatment if necessary. Children who receive NHS care should first contact NHS Direct on 0845 4647. If this is not successful, please contact the private adult service, but please be aware that there may be a charge for using this service.
